At Otakon this past year, I had a few ...malfunctions. Wigs, poses, costumes... I got a LOT of derp photos this year.  My wigs were messy, my human was showing... and no are told me until it was way too late. In order to prevent these things from happening to other cosplayers, heres a list of things you are, indeed, allowed to interrupt a photoshoot for, as long as you are polite about it. 1. Wig malfunctions. Every cosplayer wants their Wig to look good. Feel free to politely alert a cosplayer during a snoot if their wig looks like its about to eat someone.
